Happy Valentines Day!

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16

God loved us so much that he was willing to give up his Son. A love like this is hard to comprehend in my little mind but not for God. He was willing to give the ultimate sacrifice.

He loved us first and gives us the opportunity to spend eternity with him. When we accept him, we are not on our own. He gives us the Holy Spirit to lead and guide us in our relationship with him. The Holy Spirit changes us from the inside out and makes us into who God created us to be. What greater love is there than this.

God’s love is for everyone not just a chosen few. We don’t have to clean ourselves up. We don’t have to be perfect. We just come as we are.

God’s love is unconditional, undeserved, and greater than anything we can imagine.

I hope today that you will accept God’s love. I hope that you will become a “whosoever” if you are not already.

God’s love is a gift. It is given to us freely. All we have to do is accept it.
